About me
I am a UX/Product Designer with a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction & Design from the University of California, Irvine (UCI). My passion lies in creating equitable and inclusive design solutions that empower individuals to achieve fair outcomes. With a background in both design and engineering, I am confident and comfortable collaborating and communicating with cross-functional teams.
My journey as a UX designer began when I was working as a barista during my senior year of college. Mentored by a manager with a hospitality background, I learned to put myself in the customer's shoes and consider their needs at every touchpoint in their journey. From the moment they make a reservation to the time they leave the shop, I realized how small gestures such as a warm greeting, a cup of iced water, or a follow-up on their order can significantly impact customer satisfaction, loyalty, and brand reputation. This experience sparked my fascination with UX design and inspired me to later transition from front-end development to UX.
In my free time, I enjoy photography and all things design, as well as staying active through gym workouts and exploring local coffee shops. Let's connect and chat! I'd love to hear more about you.
